WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

We will discuss the federal and/or local regulations and state based requirements for management. We will discuss how to create and manage a Stormwater Pollution Prevention or Control Plan (SWPPP/SWPCP), including what makes and effective Spill Prevention & Response Plan and sampling plan. We will discuss selecting & implementing Best Management Practices (BMPs) and control measures. This course is focused to permittees better understanding and managing permit requirements, and to be able to understand what is necessary to develop a comprehensive stormwater management program.

This Industrial Stormwater Management Workshop is currently offered to address state specific permits in Washington, Oregon and Montana (for CA see the QISP/QISD Certification) as well as the federal Multi Sector General Permit (MSGP). Content being delivered has been reviewed and vetted by regulatory agencies for accuracy. This course is taught by experts with experience in compliance with the permits being discussed.
