Course Description

SWPPP Administrator certification is required by the Montana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), Montana Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (MPDES) General Permit for Stormwater Discharges Associated with Construction Activity (permit) for personnel responsible for monitoring stormwater at construction sites disturbing one or more acres of land, or are part of a larger common plan of development.

Similarly, SWPPP Preparer certification is required for those that are preparing the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) for MPDES permitted construction activity.

  • Upon completion, attendees will have met the requirements of the MPDES permit for construction activity certification and will receive a SWPPP card valid for 3 years.
  • The course for the SWPPP Administrator and SWPPP Preparer is the same and will satisfy both requirements.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY:

You are required to contact CWT Academy with any changes to your registration. No refund will be provided for any on-demand course. Refunds for scheduled classes that you are unable to attend due to unforeseen emergency or obligation, will not be provided unless CWT Academy is notified 14 days in advance, at which time 50% of the payment can be refunded to you or registration can be transferred in full to another CWT Academy hosted course at a later date within the following 3 months.

Certification Fulfilments and Reciprocities

This SWPPP course will also satisfy the criteria of the Idaho IDR100000 Inspector requirements, however, this course does not cover any of the specific Idaho Construction Stormwater General Permit requirements. For that course you will want to take the IDR100000 certification or request to add the specific Idaho permit section. Please contact us to discuss options.
